About this event
Are you curious as to what VR is? Are you craving another social outlet during the winter season? Bradley Hills Village (BHV) has a grant from the Maryland Office of Aging and is partnering with Montgomery Connects and Senior Planet to pilot how useful virtual reality can be to those of us who find it hard to get outside in the winter. As part of this project, they have invited members of BHV and BMAV to test virtual reality headsets and provide feedback about the experience. At each session, we will demonstrate how to wear the headsets and take turns trying out the virtual experience of going on nature walks. Open to anyone who wants to try VR, no technology experience is necessary, and all VR sessions can be done seated or standing depending on individual preferences. BHV promises a good time as we experiment with this new device. There will be time to socialize and time to share how you like the experience. At the end of the session, you will be awarded with a certificate that you were a Virtual Reality Pioneer.
Register by February 1, space is limited. You can attend all 3 sessions or just one (Feb 5, 12, 19)
