What is this?
Advancements in technology are enhancing the lives of Montgomery County’s growing population of older adults, especially those that want to age in place or need in-home services. At this Forum learn about the technology applications and opportunities making a difference for older adults today, in areas like health and safety; communication and staying connected, and ease of living. Some of these technologies include motion sensors, voice recognition, artificial intelligence, and home modifications that enable better internet connectivity. The Forum will also enable participants to understand how to help expand the application of these technologies in the County.
Engaging keynote speakers, panel discussion and Q & A will address:
Technology needs of older adults to help them remain safe, connected and independent.
How technology can support the diverse older adult communities now and in the future.
What’s going on in Montgomery County and how the public and private sectors can work to support older adults and their caregivers.
