Ann is the author of two books about flowering cherry trees, including Cherry Blossoms, the Official Book of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, published by National Geographic. She is also the author of a book about the bonsai at the U.S. National Arboretum. Among her many achievements, Ann is the recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Sliver Rays from the Government of Japan for her “exemplary contributions to promoting mutual understanding between Japan and the United States. . . “
