What is this?
Join this Zoom call with Bradley Hills Village to get your questions answered about when to call the Rescue Squad, what things you might keep in your medicine chest, how to use medical devices like a pulse oximeter and blood pressure cuff, and what are some healthcare apps that you can get on your phone. Presenter: John Feissner, Fire and Safety educator. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, John started in 1980 by joining the Glenmont Fire Station as a volunteer firefighter. In 1983 John was hired by the Silver Spring Fire Department as a career firefighter. During his time as a career firefighter, John was assigned to Fire Stations in Silver Spring, Kensington, Takoma Park, Laytonsville and Sandy Spring. In addition, John was assigned to the Office of the Fire Marshal in the Fire Code Enforcement Section. John served as a driver of the fire apparatus, an officer and a Paramedic. John retired in 2018. In 2019 John was hired back as a contractor and serves as a public speaker in the Community Risk Reduction Section of the Fire & Rescue Service. Please note the call is for informational purposes only, and does not intend to substitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
