What is this?
David Cohen is a writer and photographer whose work has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, and online, from The Washington Post to Harvard Magazine to foresthillsconnection.com. This is his third Zoom talk about birds—and photographing them—for Bethesda Metro Area Village.

In January and February, David traveled to the Big Island of Hawaii and the Bay Area of California. This talk will focus on the birds, vistas, and flora he saw, and his search for the elusive native Hawaiian honeycreepers. Why are they so hard to find? The answers go to the impact our species has been having on others. David will narrate slides, invite your questions, and close with a slideshow to music.

Look for his wildlife photos at https://www.instagram.com/davidcohenphotodc/
