This presentation from Great Neck library will focus on the history and significance of Juneteenth and the various ways in which it is celebrated throughout the country and will be given by Dr. Claude Mongum.<br /><br />Dr. Claude Mongum was an administrator and professor at Fordham University for forty-two years having earned my Ph.D. from Columbia University. He served as a professor in the African and African American Studies Department and was chosen as Chairperson for a number of years.<br /><br />No registration necessary.
