Confidence in our elections depends on more than preventing voter fraud; it requires ensuring that eligible voters can cast their ballots, votes are accurately counted, election systems are secure, and results are protected from interference. From voter registration and ballot security to cybersecurity, misinformation, election administration, and public understanding, elections involve a wide range of considerations. A representative from the Arlington County Office of Voter Registration & Elections will discuss the safeguards used to administer elections, the challenges election officials address, and how voters can distinguish legitimate concerns from unsupported claims about election security.
