This month we will hike the North River Trail at Great Falls Park. This is a beautiful, wide, mostly gravel path paralleling the Potomac. We will turn around after 45 minutes, hiking about 3.5 miles total. If it is predicted to be over 90 degrees we will cancel. Bring sufficient water. The path becomes too muddy after rains, so if weather is bad we will reschedule to Aug 21.
Meet at 9 am at Ann Bennet's home to carpool or at the entrance to the upper parking lot. Note that a parks pass is required to enter. Contact Ann to RSVP and be added to her email list.
