BMAV is offering a new series of beginning chess lessons online, taught by a new tutor, Ahunna Ike-Njoku. Friday July 17, 31, August 14 and 28 from 5-6 pm. Attendees will view the class on Zoom and will join chess.com to be able to practice. Free. Owning a chess board is not required. All are welcome to join but the class will focus on the fundamentals - learning how pieces move, rules and strategies, and building on those concepts each week.
