End-of-life doulas provide non-medical care that works in tandem with a dying person’s loved ones and medical team to ensure that the dying person’s needs are seen, heard, and honored. End-of-life doulas help clients understand care options, navigate the healthcare system, and adapt their homes for safety and comfort. The doulas strive to support the emotional and spiritual well-being of clients and their families. In this presentation, End-of-life doula Jane Euler, Co-Founder of Present for You LLC, will explain the services end-of-life doulas provide and how they complement and differ from hospice care.
