About this event

Revolutionizing Women's Heart Health through Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increasingly become a part of our daily lives but how can it be used to improve women's heart health? Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women, yet many of these conditions remain underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed due to gender-specific factors and a lack of personalized care. Join Johns Hopkins Medicine and the American Heart Association as we explore the innovative role of AI and digital health and the impact on women's heart health. Our panel discussion will highlight how cutting-edge technologies are bridging in healthcare gaps and paving the way for more accurate, accessible and individualized healthcare solutions.

Led by physicians, Hanghang Wang, M.D., Ph.D., cardiac surgeon at Suburban Hospital and Sabra Lewsey, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.C., F.H.F.S.A., assistant professor, advanced heart failure and transplants, and moderated by Yolandra Hancock, M.D., M.P.H., a member of the American Heart Association, Greater Washington Region Board of Directors.
