Acupuncture is an ancient system of healthcare that has evolved over thousands of years to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. Older adults may consider using acupuncture for certain health conditions along with those recommended by their primary healthcare provider. Damon Iacovelli, MAcOM LAc, Acupuncturist and Herbalist at Alleva Acupuncture, will talk about acupuncture therapy, how it affects the body, health conditions treated, and the therapy session experience.
