About this event
The AU Jewish Studies Program and the Center for Israel Studies presents a 6-week virtual series featuring speakers with fresh perspectives to address what has been called “the oldest hatred.” Sign up for one or all of the virtual sessions (every Monday from Sept 30 - Nov 4) that will feature AU scholars and faculty giving their expertise on this timely topic.
Then, join us on campus as we welcome author and Professor of Near Eastern Studies, Jonathan Gribetz, to give the 2024 Helen and Daniel Sonenshine lecture.
Gribetz will be discussing his latest book, Reading Herzl in Beirut: The PLO Effort to Know the Enemy.
Register for any dates in the series here https://www.american.edu/cas/israelstudies/antisemitism-political-tradition.cfm
