Member Louise Moody will lead a visit to A Wider Circle, where she has been a longtime volunteer. Many of you already know A Wider Circle as a place to give away lightly used furniture, clothing, and more to people in need – but that is just a part of what the organization does. As they say, “We meet each person we serve where they are – identifying challenges, providing comprehensive support, and pursuing solutions together.” That means sharing not just goods, but also skills and connections from neighbor to neighbor – including career support for people entering or re-entering the work force.
Register to attend a tour and hear from President and CEO Amy Javaid about volunteer opportunities over a light lunch provided by the nonprofit. Free parking available on site.
