About this event
Trying to beat the heat? In July join the Walkie Talkies for a walk on Thursdays, starting at 8:30 AM. Nancy will meet up with anyone who wants to walk for a 50-minute walk. Meet at the benches on the Edgemoor Triangle, Edgemoor and Hampden Lanes. We will be walking on the shaded sidewalks of Edgemoor, one of the pedestrian friendliest neighborhoods in the Village area. We walk at a moderate pace - bring a small water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes and also a hat if you prefer. Walkie Talkies will take a break in August and resume in the fall at the mid-day time.
RSVP to Nancy appreciated, or just arrive if you find you can come.
BMAV Walkie Talkies will meet July 6, 13, 20, and August 3, unless it is raining or over 85 degrees, in which case the walk is cancelled for the week. We will then take a hiatus and until October.
