About this event
Marilyn Albert, PhD, is a Professor and Director of Cognitive Neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has a PhD in physiological psychology from McGill University, a fellowship in Neuropsychology from Boston University School of Medicine, and was on the Harvard Medical School Faculty for 22 years before joining the JHU Medical School Department of Neurology.
Dr. Albert’s research has been on cognitive and brain changes associated with aging and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Currently, she is studying the early identification of AD and ways of monitoring AD progression for early treatment intervention. Friendship Heights Neighbors Network, in partnership with Suburban Hospital, invites you to join this session to learn about recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of early AD. This program is part of FHNN's collaboration with Little Falls Village.
