About this event

Let's travel back in time to Washington, DC on August 28, 1963, for the "I Have a Dream" speech by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Have you ever listened to the entire 17-minute "I Have a Dream" speech?
Unfortunately, most people have only heard portions of it.

Your host for this program is Robert Kelleman, the founder/director of the non-profit community organization Washington, DC History & Culture.

The livestream history program will cover the historical context leading up to The March on Washington, DC, and the dramatic events that followed. The highlight will be a broadcast of the entire 17-minute "I Have a Dream" speech. We also invite you to join us in an optional online discussion with fellow participants via Zoom.

Register here
https://www.meetup.com/DCHistoryAndCulture/events/282973817/?gj=ro2_e&rv=ro2_e&_xtd=gatlbWFpbF9jbGlja9oAJDM1ZjJkZDI5LWFlOTktNDhmZi1hN2NhLThjMWU3ZGQ0ZDg3ZA
