2024 Annual Report

Friendship, fun, caring, connection – the four pillars of Bethesda Metro Area Village – bring us together as a community. Our programs and services fight loneliness, expand our support networks, improve our physical and mental health, and provide fun and learning. We thrive on our range of views, experiences, interests, and skills.
The village gives us purpose, and it fills our days – and evenings – with gatherings that meet our social and intellectual needs. With the energy and effort of our members and our incomparable executive director, our activities have multiplied and blossomed. The plague of isolation, depression, and anxiety that affects so many seniors is being conquered in this area, thanks to our village.
Our members are not the only ones who give to and benefit from the village. Our volunteers, who are members and non-members of all ages, provide critical services. They have our heartfelt gratitude.
I could go on, but I need not repeat what you will read and see inside our 2024 Annual Report. We continue to innovate and grow. I invite you to participate in building this community by joining as a member, becoming a volunteer, or making a donation now or through our legacy giving program.
I welcome your feedback, your thoughts, and your support for our marvelous and critically important organization.
