About this event
Aging brings changes, but it doesn’t take away who you are. In this virtual session from Ingleside, Chaplain Brandon Cox offers a reassuring perspective on how care partners can support people living with dementia while honoring dignity, individuality, and connection. He will share how thoughtful, person-centered approaches help those experiencing cognitive change feel valued and understood—today and in the years ahead.
Chaplain Brandon Cox is a graduate of Howard University School of Divinity, where he earned a Master of Divinity, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management. He has completed a chaplaincy internship and two year-long chaplaincy residencies at the National Institute of Health (NIH) Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD; the Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC; and the University of Virginia’s University Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He has now obtained seven (7) units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Chaplain Cox currently serves as a healthcare chaplain with Ingleside, a Life Plan Community provider serving DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
