Little Falls Watershed Alliance Clean the Parkway

Little Falls Watershed Alliance is a volunteer group started in 2008 to protect the fragile natural environment of 9.5 sq miles in lower Montgomery County. Any water that falls on the ground in this area will eventually flow into the Potomac River through the Little Falls, Willett or the Minnehaha creeks branches. We will join other volunteers to pickup trash in a flat area by the Bethesda Pool on Little Falls Pkwy, before it reaches the water. The Alliance does not ask for registration, but register with BMAV to meet up with others and carpool together.

The Alliance will provide gloves, bags, and safety vests but bring your own gloves if you have them, and wear sturdy shoes. Will be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
