What is this?
Nearly 50% of Americans say they are anxious about resuming in-person interactions once it is safe to do so. And those vaccinated against Covid-19 were just as likely to express unease at social interactions as those who haven't been vaccinated. Covid-19 shifted our perception of what's considered normal and things that might have been easy before can now feel awkward. Talking about having a reentry plan can help. Join us to talk about your worries, plans, and get tips on how to successfully navigate this period with Catherine McCallum, MSW, LCSW-C, LICSW. Open to BMAV members and volunteers only.
McCallum is a licensed clincial social work. Early in her career she worked as an Employee Assistance professional in the Federal government and then spent 7 years as Executive Director of Chevy Chase At Home (senior village). In 2019 she started her own business, Coral Life Strategies. She provides care planning consultation for a limited number of private clients and is also a practicing psychotherapist, currently providing telehealth for older adults from her home office. She is a member of the ProAging Network, Greater Washington Society of Clinical Social Work. the Washington Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology, and National Association of Social Workers.
