Encore Creativity for Older Adults, in partnership with AARP, is presenting a FREE online holiday concert. As part of Encore University’s fall semester program, hundreds of Encore singers participated in rehearsing and recording themselves for Encore’s first “virtual” concert. Joined by strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion, our talented singers will perform sparkling arrangements of beloved holiday classics, including “Deck The Hall,” “Sleigh Ride” and “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.” The concert will also include a sing-along that will allow the audience to raise their voices in traditional favorites such as “Winter Wonderland” and “White Christmas.” In addition, AARP will be sharing exciting findings from their recent study on music and brain health in older adults.
